Sophia Harimoto is graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior (NPB). Her honors thesis project explored sex differences in the association between socioeconomic status and brain structure in individuals with autism. She joined the team in 2022 as a volunteer, then as a student assistant. She is now a study coordinator and works on the adolescent (15-19 year olds) phase of APP. In the future, she hopes to attend a doctoral program in neuroscience and pursue a career in research to better understand the neurobiological mechanisms that motivate human behavior and related disorders.
